I already had our invitations picked out and had ordered samples, gotten pricing and consulted 2 or 3 times and was just waiting to order until we locked down the times and guest count. I received an email today that they are no longer taking or fulfilling order and are shutting down business.
We fell in LOVE with these invitations because they were custom, heavier card stock and very good quality. We we going to get the collection which includes the invitation, envelope, response card and envelope, and thank you note with envelope all for 3.40 per set. We did not want to have to print them ourselves and did not want just a one page invite.
Below are some pics of what we were going to get just with different colors. Does anyone have any suggestions of where we might be able to get something like this locally.

[QUOTE]We consulted with Marta Simmons-Wiechmann. She was extremely helpful and full of ideas. We chose the DIY route but not because of her or anything. Thanks for the info, do you have any idea on pricing because that is my main concern that I will pay double or triple to find something similar. If you are not sure I will just give her a call but if you knew I didnt want to waste her time.
Thanks
Did you try Etsy? I feel sure you can find something comparable there.
Also I'm pretty sure Cards and Pockets will print your invitations also--you would just have to assemble them.
ETA: Sorry, I just realized you wanted someone local. I would still recommend Etsy though.

It couldn't hurt to put out some feelers and see if anyone bites?

I said local only because I want to be able to see the quality and I dont like a lot of the websites but etsy is a really great idea. I will have to check them out. Thanks
The only bad thing is that there are so many vendors it can be overwhelming. Just set aside a couple of hours one night when you can start looking.

I don't remember the pricing; I think it just depends on what you want and how complicated you want to get.
[QUOTE]This isn't local like you asked for, but Etsy has an alchemy section where you can post what you would like to have made (and at what price) and the Etsy sellers will bid on the project. It couldn't hurt to put out some feelers and see if anyone bites?

Tiffany and Stephie thank you guys so much. I had forgotten about etsy and I had not idea they had the alchemy section. I put up a request lastnight and within a couple hours I had over 10 responses and today I will be mailing out the samples I have to a wonderful lady who is actually going to beat the price I was originally quoted by including save the dates! Thank you thank you!
Just be careful--Etsy can be sooo addicting!

I KNOW I spent hours on there last night because one of the quotes I got back also does bridal accessories so I spent quite some time looking at fascinators and other accessories which may end very badly for my budget lol.

I JUST posted something about this... I didn't know about it either until this conversation yesterday... I feel an Etsy addiction coming on...
