Budget photography

Hello Ladies!

My fiance and I have started our search for our photographer. It is very important to me that the person I pay takes good photos because there are the memories I will have after the wedding day is over. We are trying to keep it under 4k and absolutely under 5k. Does anyone know any good photographers (we are in the north east jersey area) who have wedding day and engagement packages under 5k? Anyone you guys personally recommend?

My best friend and I are getting married two weeks apart and are looking together. We hope that because of that we can maybe try to haggle and get a good deal..

Any ideas would be very helpful.. THANKS

I'd recommend Jason Rhee.. he is very affordable and I think his photos are amazing.

I wouldn't consider plans to spend $4k - $5k on photography to be "budget".

Take a look at Robert Wayne Photography. I love his photoraphy, very high-end albums at very affordable prices, he's a la carte so there's no package commitment, and he's priced right. I know there are a number of brides on here using him.

We used Jason Rhee and he was quite a bit under that. Your budget is probably average to a bit higher than most, so I think it depends on what you are looking for.

4-5K is def not budget. We used Artist European, check them out!

Look at CIP Studios in Chester. www.studiocip.com. We got a lot for under 5k including an engagement session, albums, thank you's etc. If you tell them Karen M (November) sent you I get a $200 credit as well as you. PM me if you need more info.

I wasn't sure how much photography goes for (just started my search) and most photographers I found online during my initial search were 4500+. Now that I have gone more in depth with my search I see that there are more affordable options. I would really love it if we could keep it under 3,500. The less the better.

I'm glad to know 4-5k is not budget because I was starting to freak out

Please please please look at Tiffany Atlas's website. She is an amazing photographer. She did the pics for my friend's wedding and her book is fabulous

9 hours. 2400 which is RIDICULOUS!!

It is tasteful, photo journalistic, and captures a lot of emotion
