It may be too late for you to read but...

make sure you stop for a minute and just look around. See all the people who love you and let it soak in.

Also, make sure people warn you when its time to leave. My parents told me to go outside at the end of the night and I didn't realize it was to leave. I didn't get to say goodbye to half the people I wanted to before we left the venue.
