Venue Help : ) Looking for a unique venue in North Shore area that goes with a Vintage theme. Like t

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Crane Estate in Ipswich.

Problem is...it does not fit in to my budget- which is about 15-17k for around 90-120 people.

I have a vintage theme in mind and am looking for places a bit different. Trying to stay away from Hotels and if possible would be great to have it somewhere that doesn't just exist for weddings.

I plan on having the ceremony and reception at the same place. And location can really be anywhere in Mass but I am trying, if possible to keep it around Boston/North Shore area.

Any ideas would be so very appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Check out The Commons in Topsfield. It has a New England historic charm that is very different than a typical hotel ballroom wedding. Its perfect for the size you are planning and should fit your budget. I don't know what the pricing is, but Glen Magna Farms in Danvers and Willowdale Estate in Topsfield might also provide the setting you have in mind.

I was also going to suggest Hamilton Hall in Salem.  You could also look into the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.

Try Pine Manor College in Chestnut hill. That's where I am getting married. It has an old mansion vintage theme. I felt the same way as you. I don't like hotels and it seemed like all the other places were so expensive. The ballroom hold 90 people. You should definitely check it out. I love it! Let me know what you think!

Check out the Henderson House in Weston.  Beautiful mansion with gorgeous grounds and I believe it is very reasonably priced.  If you are a Northeastern alum, you get 10% off!  My friend had a lunch wedding here with the ceremony on the patio and it was beautiful.

Glen Magna Farms definitely has that vintage feel you are looking for.  We are having our wedding there next June and are in love with it!  Good luck with your search!

We looked at Willowdale Estate and I fell in love with it.  It was too small for my guest list, but it was charming.  The food was great too.

If you are open to traveling an hour from Boston to Newport, the Glen Manor House is gorgeous! To rent the place on Saturday is $7500, and $5500 for Sundays. They do one wedding a day and you have exclusive use of the property. Good luck!
