I had my hair and makeup trial today at Dana Bartone Salon. Lauren is doing my hair and Janice is doing my makeup.
For my hair we went off an inspiration photo I got off the internet where a bride incorporated her tiara into an updo where the curls were a little on top and all throughout the back of the head and the veil can come out underneath the updo. I was hoping for my hairstyle not to come out like a "prom updo" since I was using a tiara and I think we did good. Plus, I have REALLY thin hair and we thought I would need extensions to make the look work, but Lauren was awesome and was able to make it work with just my hair. Whoo hoo!
As for my make up, I brought in a picture with a very finished golden look with pink accents and she remade it for me. The only difference on the day of the wedding will be adding some fake eyelashes and some body shimmer on my shoulders and upper chest area.
