Ceremony question?

My wedding is October 23rd, I'm having an issues with my church. They want me to have my wedding at 1pm but it was originally scheduled for 5pm. Do you think the 23rd is too far into the fall for an outdoor wedding? Also does anyone have any non-denominational church suggestions?

    Can you have the ceremony at your reception location? That is what we did.

    Try the Universalist National Memorial Church...they are nice folks.   There is also the Church of the Holy City down the street from UNMC.

    Hmmm....personally I wouldnt do 10-23 outside....it might be cold!  (Though that's hard to say when its 90 degrees in April!)

    Agreed.  Weather is too wonky in this area to try to predict good weather that late.  I'd say it's real iffy.  Did you try talking to the church about their reasoning for an earlier ceremony?  Perhaps you could negotiate a little?

    Like pp said I would try to talk with the church and see if they can work with you.  If not, can you do the ceremony at the reception site?  That's what we are doing as well.
