One or two photographers/videographers

I was wondering what people's opinions are on having one vs. two photographers or videographers?  What are the advantages?  Is it worth the money?  Do you need to two of each or is one of each enough?

    My photographer comes with an assistant. I think alot do (My DJ brings an assistant too). Neither of them charged me more for their assistants because it's by their choice. My photographer told me it's more helpful for her so he can be in with the groom while she's in with me. (It's a husband & wife). Also so they can get different angles & shots & be in two different places at once.

    We're not having a videographer....but I would definitely choose 2 photographers. I feel like they can capture more.

    If we did have a videographer I could be okay w/just 1 if my budget didn't allow for 2.
