But, Is our South Fl board DEAD!!!!

I've been on here for about a year and I remember when I first got on it was a lot of fun.....with interesting ladies.....now it's just blah.

I see lots of girls randomly post things....where is everyone hiding?

What's keeping everyone away???

I'm guilty myself...I started only posting when I needed vendor rec....I would like to get to know everyone...

So who is hanging around??

Totally agree with you!!! I have been thinking the same thing!!!! I too have been reading the boards for a long time and even though I am not a bride, my daughter is and anytime she has a question about something I refer to the knot and the boards and tell her. I try to support everyone and give ideas when I know something. Anyways, glad that you brought this up. Thanks.

I have my phases, come in and out often..I started planning about 9 months ago, and now my wedding is less than a year away. With each passing day, I think I come on here more often. I am TERRIFIED that the day will come and I will miss out on something extremely important! Do you feel the same way?

I completly agree with you and have been wondering the same thing! I started planning 2 years ago and I remember coming on here and there were tons of posts daily. They used to also do those getting to know each other nights, I think the first Tuesday of every month, where people just talked about random things. I feel like maybe it is a circle effect - like less people post so less people come on and it just keeps getting worse and worse, does that make any sense??

I'm guilty of it ... granted I've only been on here less than a yr I didn't become active and dont post to much even now. I'm Melissa and my wedding is over a yr away but I'm okay with it as I still have A LOT more to do and its slow process for me. But if you ladies have any questions I'm an open book ask away!

Yeah, I used to lurk a couple of years ago and it was very active. Now when you post (albeit randomly) you've gotta watch your thread because the responses just trickle....if you even get one. And I remember seeing alot of gtg's before. IDK....

I think everyone is just pretty busy!! I'm working on a G2G right now and I haven't been able to keep up with our weekly posts as much as I'd like to but I'll try to do better!

sounds good, i'm still reletively new, just joined in january but my wedding is in less then 3 months and i have million things to do! I love coming on here and getting ideas so thanks ladies for help so far...and yes, lets keep it up. i would love ti come to a g2g if i can before my wedding (6/24)...oh, I'm Josie!!

I'm still a fairly new member to this site and after lurking around the boards I wanted to join because of the great ideas/recommendations being shared and bride support system. I can't agree or disagree as I'm guilty as being one of the 'trickle' girls - coming in and out usually when I have some free time at work or when I have a specific question. However... my question for everyone is...

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT???? let's get things back up and running -- maybe everyone promise to check in every 2 days or at least 1x a week?? What worked before?

As many of you saw I've asked for a few volunteers to help me make this a more exciting place. Hopefully we can start doing more weekly activities.

We all have busy lives but check in when you can!

A G2G is in the works and hopefully these new weekly features will be a bit more interactive.
