Hi Ladies!

I had my makeup trial yesterday. I am going with Jennifer Bernhardt from Artistry on Location. She is absolutely fantastic! I loved her. Not only did my makeup look fantastic, but she was so sweet and friendly. She explained everything she was doing, every product she was using, and was very accomodating.

I just thought you might like to know about her if you are looking into having a makeup artist (she does airbrush makeup, too, btw). I would highly recommend her!

    How exciting :) I took a look at her page- so pretty!  I definitely think I'm leaning toward airbrush makeup, it's supposed to stay on better, right?

    nicleep - yes, it should stay on better. That's the main reason I really wanted to have airbrush makeup done. My makeup ALWAYS wears off half way through the day. Plus, it's so light weight, it doesn't even feel like you're wearing makeup.

    Do you have a picture of yourself from your trial you could post?

    P.S. You seem to have so much done! We have the same date and I haven't even thought about this stuff yet! How much do you have done? Way to go!

    Here's an indoor one and & outdoor one. Sorry, if the sizing is bad. I'll try to fix it if it is.



    mgumms - I actually do have quite a bit done. The reason is because when I first started looking into booking a photographer, the first two that I wanted were already booked on my date (at 11 months out!), so it made me paranoid that everything else would book up really quickly, too. So, I just started booking everything as early as I could. 

    That being said, I have the date, venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, cake baker, my dress, makeup artist, and a photo booth. Oh, and FI has already designed our invitations and save the dates.

    You look gorgeous! She did a great job! I was thinking about doing makeup trials now too. I dont want to do a trial a month before the wedding and not like the lady doing. Then have to scramble to find someone else. You are on top of your game!!

    You look beautiful! Kudos on getting so much done! I guess I'm not really that far behind you, minus the makeup artist and photobooth (but I'm not having one). I just talked to my photographer today and our date is apparently the most popular date ever! So I'm sure you're right about being on the ball with everything.

    Buuuuttt....Holy Cow!! Why does it have to be soo dang expensive?!?! Because its your wedding day, you have to pay an extra $100??? That is just rediculous to me! Why should it be any different than the price for a standard session?!?! Sorry, just venting...I hate that everything is soo much more expensive just because its "wedding" related. Ugh....
