1 Year Anny ideas in or near Indianapolis

Saving for a house so can't really go crazy, but we want to do something special!  What are some ideas for a weekend celebration?

    By weekend do you mean a little get away?

    Brown County is great this time of year.  French Lick is a few hours drive, but I hear it's nice. 

    If you want to stay downtown you can usually find last minute deals using orbitz or hotels.com

    This time of year there is lots going on downtown.  What weekend are you looking at?  I would suggest trying a new restuarant or something out of the norm you would usually do downtown.

    Fountain Square! There's swing dancing every other Friday, duckpin bowling in the basement, and rooftop dining with food from the Shelbi Street Bistro, it's absolutely beautiful. http://www.fountainsquareindy.com/ You could go the the Indianapolis Arts Center in Broad Ripple to take some pictures or even take a class together, too.
