Watters/Wtoo customer service

I just had the best customer service experience with Wtoo/Watters and I wanted to share in case some of you girls are looking into them!

I really love the way Wtoo gowns are designed. I think they are really modern and trendy and I like them! I was having a hard time finding stores with a sample size that would fit me to try one. One store had all their samples in a size 8 (I'm a size 16 in jeans and more like a 20/22 bridal) and the other store literally turned me away at the door saying they didn't have anything to fit me. I was considering driving from where I live in Phoenix out to Los Angeles to see if they had any samples that would work for me. I didn't want to waste my time calling and emailing every store in southern California though, so I emailed Watters customer service asking where I could travel to that I could try on a gown.

They emailed me back within an hour saying I could select a few styles and they would ship samples IN MY SIZE to a store in my area for me to try on. He suggested I try a selection of silhouettes and fabrics to get a feel for the cut, sizing and fabrics and could order accordingly. He also said if a dress worked I could possibly take it home with me the day of my fitting and whatever didn't work the shop could just send back.

I feel like they seriously went above and beyond and I am super excited and just wanted to share.

Re: Watters/Wtoo customer service

  • That is really great customer service.  I hope you post a bad review online for the store that turned you away...not cool.
  • Barbieee, what store turned you away? I ask because I want to avoid them as we're about the same size.

  • It was Wedding Belles in Gilbert. I don't know what shops you've tried so far but I have had good luck with the David's in Paradise Valley, Strut even though I felt the most pressure to purchase that day from them, and surprisingly, there is an off the rack/sample store in Mesa called Brilliant Bridal that I found a good selection of dresses in my size. I'm going to go through Mariee in Scottsdale for my Wtoo dresses though, I think. Although they didn't have samples in my size at my previous visit, I felt like they were still nice and friendly.

  • I'll be sure not to go there. The people at Mariee are awesome-I'm likely getting my dress there also. Have you tried Strut? They're only for plus brides, so you can try everything on.
