    That house is gorgeous.  But I couldn't live in it.  What an incredibly useless kitchen and while I love the windows, I would constantly be nervous about who was trying to look in.

    That was my dream house in my 20s.  Now I want comfortable and elegant houses, not cool and dramatic.

    you know i gave that kitchen a good hard look.

    the fridge, range and sink are way too far apart.  i hope this house was staged, and this isn't how these people live. 
    who puts a clock in front of the range?
    why are those spices so tiny, out in the open and near the range?

    They are far apart, but what killed me was the lack of cabinets in the actual kitchen and then that useless build in refrigerator and oven wall.  WTF at those shelves?  They're so HIGH.  I don't want to forget about everything in there.  And the way the handles are situation, they look like they might open down.  Again, useless.

    I love that house, it's stunning, and I'd re-do parts of the kitchen, but the rest of it is amazing.

    I have a friend in that area that is in need of a new house....will she think I'm crazy if I send it to her. Vancouver, BC is such a beautiful area too.
