I would be pretty nervous to be honest. If I did it would have to be a killer deal and inexpensive enough to make sure that if I did hate the ring I could afford to buy another one.
That's just me though. I have a hard time buying anything offline.
Yes, I'd have my doubts, but I'm still considering buying them online. We want very simple, classic bands without frills, so if the descriptions are clear enough, I think we'll get what we ordered. I'll be paying through paypal and asking my money back if they aren't delivered as promised.
I'm thinking of going the Etsy route - I found an artisan in Hawaii there who will make our rings out recycled gold in an eco-friendly way for a much cheaper price than I'm getting at local jeweller's. I'm just going to visit one more store in ten days, and if they don't have a good deal, online it is.

I love amazon, I've had nothing but positive experiences with them, now saying that... I don't know if I'd be buying my wedding rings with them. Like others have said it would have to be a killer deal in case I didn't like them, which I suppose you could send them back, and if you did like them you still had money in your budget for sizing if there's any issues there.
I love ordering stuff online!! We may end up looking for FI's ring online, he wants something pretty simple and the jewelers around here charge an arm and a leg for anything that isn't way over the top fancy and is on sale.
i love amazon in general and i love online shopping....but to me, wedding bands are too important not to try on in person. i personally want to make sure it "fits" properly with my engagement ring and looks right next to it. i think it might make more sense for our guys to order a ring online if they know exactly what size they are and are not picky about it....but i am too picky and particular to order something like my wedding band online.

I agree with this. I would never purchase a wedding band online but I know that a lot of people do. For us we want to actually be able to see and touch the rings in person.
I don't know. I don't like to order clothes or something that needs a certain size (I hate having to return stuff). So for a ring- I wouldn't, but that's just me- I want to actually SEE it first and try it on. I always feel like the pictures online aren't really what they will look like in real life.
I would totally order off Amazon if I fell in love with something.
The rings we bought are crazy expensive so that was something we wanted to see in person. We wanted to make sure they matched my e-ring, and FI wanted to make sure he liked his, as well. The service at our jewelry store is phenomenal and they already know FI on a first-name basis, which is always a nice experience.
