Hi everyone, I'm Chrissy. I'm pretty petitie, 5" and around 105 lbs, but boy do I jiggle! I don't have a toned part on my body and I really want to change that. My goal isn't to lose weight, but to get rid of the fat that jiggles and look lean. And, I definitely don't want to bulk up. I've heard a couple different aproaches but nothing really seems to work and they all contradict eachother. I've heard to do cardio and weight training, then I've heard no weight training because the will bulk you up and give you a bigger waist and thighs instead of slimer ones. To eat 5-6 meals a day or to not? Are carbs ok or not ok? Lots of water or limit water so you don't bloat? It's very frustrating, to say the least.
Anyone in the same boat as me and know of anything that works?
Re: Newbie! Gotta lose the jiggle, but how?!
Do whatever works best for you for how many meals a day.
Carbs are fine. Whole grains are best. Plus fruits and veggies, which are mostly carbs.
Lots of water, it's important to be well hydrated. Water doesn't make you bloat--whoever told you that is a moron, and you should probably do the opposite of everything they said.

</div><div>Haha love this, thank you for clearing that up! Build muscle, whole grains and good carbs, got it. Do I need the cardio to get rid of the fat on top of the muscle or will the muscle underneath take care of that?</div>
But cardio surely doesn't hurt! Just be careful not to overdo it.

I hear pilates works the same way, but I don't personally like it.
Belly dancing, will likewise tone your body. It is great workout for those with a bad back too, tones those core muscles that help you stand strait. It also gets the heart rate up, so you get toning and cardio in one. Plus, it's sexy for the honeymoon!
