Help! Crumply Veil!

I just recently bought my veil, and they gave me the last one they had in stock. My mom took it to my grandmother's to be stored, but when she opened up to show my grandma, she said it was really wrinkly from being in the store's bag. Where should I take my veil to have it properly de-wrinkled? Thanks! :)

Re: Help! Crumply Veil!

  • I have heard that if you hang it in the bathroom while you shower, the steam will take out the wrinkles. Maybe that'll work? :)
  • Yes, put it in the bathroom and steam it.  I did mine while I took a long shower and it worked great.  It may take more than one steam to get all the wrinkles out so if it's not completely wrinkle free don't freak, just repeat the process.

  • Where I'm getting my dress altered, they steam the dress when then get done with alterations and will do your veil for free while they do the dress. Something else to think about.

  •  i believe it worked well -Ditto the shower steam

  • I got mine off Ebay and it took two weeks in my bathroom (with showering every day) to get the wrinkles out. If you have time before the big day, I would give it a try.

  • Thanks everyone for the ideas! I'm going to try the shower steamings and talk to my bridal shop. Thanks again! :)
