  I had my hair trial last week, and my stylist said that the problem with half up half down or all down is that it won't hold up well through dancing and sweating. I also have curly hair and know that it doesn't hold up well in heat!
  
  Lucky for me she's also a friend and will be at my wedding, so we are doing half up for ceremony, and then she's going to put it all back for the reception so I can dance like crazy and still look good But since you probably don't have the same situation, you may want to do it all back/up so you don't even have to worry about it.   I don't have curly hair; mine is fine and limp, but just thought I'd share that I'm planning to put all of mine up to avoid all stress about the style not holding up.  Plus that avoids any weather-related hair stress as well.

  If you just don't want to deal with it, I'd put it up. 

  
  

  I have curly hair, and when it was longer, if I did half up/half down, it would get all damp on my neck from sweat and then do whatever it wanted to!

  
  

  Mine tends to NOT frizz when I have it done professionally because they have so many different options to put in it that stops frizz completely.

  That's a great idea CD.  One of my friends is also a hairstylist and will be doing my hair for the wedding, as well as being there as a guest. I will talk to her about it and see but so far I was thinking of this one half up  and half down style.
  In order to do it, i'd have to straighten my hair, then put in loose curls.
