Sangria!!

Hi Ladies

One of the drinks my mom wants to serve at the shower is Sangria.  I know there are a ton of recipes online but have any of you ladies tried to make it at home? What is your recipe?

    I can't remember the exact amounts but Ruby Tuesday uses like 1oz of saki, a few oz of wine, white blush or red depending on the type of sangria. I always like the pink/blush ones. Then a few oz of a fruit mix they have. Its like frozen strawberries basically in the blush one..and then some simple syrup and some fresh fruit apples etc. I think its topped with sprite. Its been so long since I've seen one made! I worked there a couple of years ago

    1 bottle red wine, 1/2 bottle gingerale, 1 bottle blood orange soda, peach slices, raspberries. Yum!

    you can add Brandy to that too! Also, since I just made a white and red last weekend, I would recommend not making them too far in advance. You want enough time to get the flavor of the fruit but not so much that it just tastes icky (like my white did) So the morning of should be good :)
