Writing Our Own Ceremony...

Can anyone recommend some reading materials on writing and putting together our own wedding ceremony?  I know that I have plenty of time, but I wouldn't mind getting a jumpstart by reading some great books and/or articles.

    There are lots of ideas on the internet as well.  I wrote ours based on ceremonies I read online. PM me if you want me to send you a copy for some ideas!

    Yes! I am using "I Do- Your Complete Wedding Ceremony Book" by Jim Albani.

    I actually went Staples and had it printed and bound bc it is 220 pages. I has tons of outlines for different ceremonies, both religious and nonreligous, different examples of readings, vows, etc. It was a life saver since we are having a friend officiate and I have to plan the whole ceremony.

    Also ask your JOP. Ours emailed us a whole bunch of different ceremonies, which we then picked apart and put back together as one ceremony we liked.

    I spent hours and hours looking online to find ideas to write a catholic-jewish ceremony that also incorporates Latin traditions (the arras and the lasso).
