It's raining out...again. Blerg.
I need to get my nieces gifts out today. I tried to go to the post office yesterday and it was a fcking zoo. I think I'll try the UPS store on my lunch.
My aunt (dad's sister) wants to do 'Christmas' on Thursday after my uncles funeral. I think it's going to be awkward and depressing...I hope I'm wrong.
Last day of work before Christmas. YAY. I hope I get all my files closed.
Re: Good morning.
Good luck thursday. There is no telling how that will go, but for everyone's sake I hope it goes well.
I caught H's and M's cold. I feel like hell and I have to clean the entire apartment to sparkling tonight. Tomorrow night we're having our NY Burning Man campmates over for a Very Burner Hanukkah. I also have to go to the store tonight and BuyBuyBaby. How the hell does a BRU in NYC *not* have Hanukkah onsies?
We had M's first therapy session last night and got some tips for play time at home. Today at daycare she's having feeding/speech therapy.

That's gross for everyone.
I'm so sore this morning. I am doing this program that is kind of kicking my butt. I like it, but the whole...I can't lift my arms thing gets old fast.
I'm also hoping that H and i can get out and finish our shopping tonight.

It's not your job to clean it up, right?

Um, why on Earth is this a good idea? Who wants to associate thier gifts with the death of a loved one?

Please don't get me started. I think it's a terrible idea. TERRIBLE. So do my sisters.
But we've been asked pretty please by my very tired and very sad parents to 'just go along' with it. And they really don't ask much of us...ever.
I did ask if there was any way that they could just give us the gifts and we could open them on Christmas at our house. I'd even take video of my kids opening their stuff from them and send it right away.
The request is still pending.
Crap...I Mean Crafts
It's cold out, but no rain...that was yesterday.
Today is the office cookie exchange, but I also have to start a new project which is something I have never done before. I am excited for the opportunity, but I can't get my butt to match my brain right now. Move dammmit. Move.
