Suits?

My fiance wants to buy a suit for the wedding. Are there any good spots to do this?  I was thinking Mens Warehouse and Department stores. Anyone aware of other places to look?

    We went to Mens Warehouse with this intent and they were terrible.  They only had maybe 3 suits and customer service was horrible.  This wasn't in AZ, but when getting FIs suit for his brother's wedding in AZ, same story.  We went to Macy's during a sale and got an AMAZING deal ($500 suit for under $200) on a suit that is absolutely perfect and the sales guy was awesome!  I recommend looking into places other than Men's Warehouse before going there.

    Our officiant recommended a place to us...  I'll have to ask FI the name of it though.

    My FI and I are going to check out Mr. Formal... We want to rent the suits so the guys in the WP don't have to purchase one.. Maybe check them out to purchase a suit.

    Nick's Menswear in Arrowhead Towne Ctr is the one that our officiant rec'd to us.

    He said the prices are around the same as renting a tux, to buy a nice suit from there, so it's probably the first place we'll be checking out.  He's been officiating for a long time and knows his stuff.

    I second Nicks in Arrowhead.  I went in and checked it out and a nice suit will cost you just a little bit more than renting a tux but.... you get to keep a suit and most men could find  another time to use it. (My FI wears a suit everyday to work),  Nicks also has color swatches of the more popular brand bridal wear colors such as the David's bridal color line... so If you are trying to see if the suit, shirt and tie looks good with say Apple Red, you don't need to bring a swatch with you.  Good luck, hope this helps.

    I posted a rave review about Nicks' a few months ago...he is a PHENOMENAL help and genuinely excited for couples. They have great pricing and offer discouns at the Altered States in the mall.

    My fiancee just bought a suit at Nick's at Arrowhead for a Holiday party.  Hector helped us out and he was great.  My fiancee told him what he was looking for and Hector picked it right out for him.  He was super friendly and the suit was reasonably priced.  Two thumbs up for sure!

    Hector was who we worked with as well.  He was wonderful!   I'm glad you had a good experience there as well.  =)
