I met with the choreographer last weekend to go over a few of her videos and what she could do for us. It got me so excited!!I had to come up with a list of songs to mesh together for our routine, which was actually more difficult than I expected. I had my son listen to songs with me so he could help me pick his faves; he's involved in the dance so his input is very valuable!
So we came up with this list for a 3 minute-ish routine:Sexy and I know it - LMFAOTIK TOK - Ke$haEverything Tonite - Pitbull & others...Dynomite - Taio CruzEvacuate the Dance Floor - CascadaMoves Like Jagger - Maroon 5Don't Stop the Party - BEP
The plan is to start our dance (and almost finish) but Noah will make his way to the DJ booth to take over. He'll put on Sexy and I know it, and strut his way onto the dance floor. Then we'll do our routine and finish off by wiggling our thangs haha
I sent the info off to the choreographer and she should have something put together by next week. The plan is to start lessons early March and then stop by summer; we'll do a couple refreshers before the wedding (and of course practice on our own). I can't wait to do this as a family and be able to show it off at the wedding.Oh and I think we have officially decided on "our" song... This Year's Love by David Gray :)It's funny how even before we met, we both LOVED David Gray and it was a song we always felt strongly about. When I put it on for him as an "option" he looked at me with glossy eyes and said "I love this song". I knew it was IT.
