  What type of musicians are you looking for?  Guitarist?  Pianist?  String Trio?
  
  You can try sites like gigmasters.com or check with local universities for students.  We ended up hiring our guitarist by posting an ad on Craigs List.

  We are using The String Quartet of Northern Virginia for our ceremony (and cocktail party): http://www.northernvirginiastringquartet.com. I highly recommend them.

  I really like our harpist Melissa Tardiff Dvorak - she plays really beautiful and classic music and can play religious or contemporary songs in addition to the standard choices -
