What song is everyone's first dance going to be to?

I am still trying to decide. I love love love The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, I know that is so commonly done though. We are having a 1930s throw-back wedding theme so it fits, but just curious what everyone else is doing.

    This is a fun one!

I like the song "That's All" which is available from a variety of performers but I like the Nat King Cole version. We also like the idea of a vintage feel for our wedding and this song certainly fits.

My FI and I have also been to see The Avett Brothers several times together and they have two songs I am considering: "The Offering" and "Swept Away."

We also have a kind of funny song together that we plan to play after our serious song, which is "I Love You Big Dummy" by Captain Beefheart.

We are having a similar theme and a similar problem!  A lot of the songs i really like seem really over-done.  Especially the Frank ones, and we are having a Frank impersonater so we kind of need to pick a Frank song...

    Some ideas:

    - Embraceable You (Nat King Cole)
    - La Vie en Rose (Louis Armstrong/Bing Crosby)
    - As Time Goes By (Frank Sinatra)
    - A Kiss To Build a Dream On (Louis Armstrong)
    - Wonderful World  (Louis Armstrong)
    - Unforgettable (Nat King Cole)

We love this song by Dean Martin called "Ain't That a Kick in the Head." It's really fun and upbeat... and the words are hilarious, but true! LOL We thought it would be fun and different :)

I need some non throw-back suggestions!

As a joke my FI and I always requested "All my Life" by KCi & Jo Jo from when we were in about junior high school.. we would request this at all my old sorority dances and we were thinking it would be funny - but the song itself is so darn cheesy I just don't know!

We both like country music too so any good suggestions there?

I just spent a ridiculous amount of time you tubing most of these songs! I pretty much only listen to country so my song knowledge is limited. I think we are going to dance to I Cross My Heart by George Strait, but we haven't officially decided yet!

"You & Me" by Dave Matthews Band....the first time I heard it, I wanted it as our first dance song.  I asked him if it could be when DMB played it at their concert last year, and he said definitely!

Kind of torn between several at the moment. I love "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flats, kinda shocking as I come from a punk rock back ground! lol!

"Stitch by Stich" by Javier Colon from the Voice

"Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova is a major contender, the song is just gorgeous.
