First RSVPs are in!

I sent out our invites on Saturday for our July 7 wedding and I got the first RSVPs in the mail today! Two can come (one was my dad...kind of a given) and one can't. I get so excited every day to come home and check the mail!!

I have 72 days left which at times feels like a lot. But when I think about it, it's really not that much. I'm normally exhausted when I get home from work and not in the mood to work on wedding stuff. So I have 10 weekends. But the last one is the wedding... so really 9 weekends. 18 days. Holy crap! So much to get done! My goal for tomorrow and the weekend is to make a super detailed list with everything from getting my dress fit to all of my DIY projects. Then I can prioritize and figure out what I could do without if I don't get it done. Okay. Time to get organized!

    Your math for just the weekends totally stresses me out!!!!!!!! I haven't sent my invites, but I can see being excited to get the mail everyday :) Our rsvp envelopes are hot pink so they will stand out in the stack of mail.

    I mailed my invites on Saturday too! I got my first three RSVPs yesterday and I got ELEVEN today! So far everyone has RSVP'd yes, except for two! LOL

    oh wow, same here, our date is also July 7, and we got 2 RSVPS, 1 said yes and the other said no, so we are at 50% rate now. Kinda bum, but so excite to see them in the mail.

    Whoop! I've gotten 9 back so far. 3 have said no. And another 2 said they weren't bringing guests.

    Same here! Gosh, I thought I having a semi-long (18 month) engagement would mean I would be really low stress by this time in the planning, but there is so much I haven't done yet.

    Sounds like I am behind on getting my mailed out for our July 4, 2012 wedding.  We are mailing on Monday.  I am looking forward to the RSVP'S coming back in the mail.

    I don't think you're behind! We wanted to give our guests a little extra time to make travel arrangements because 80% of our guests are at least 5 if not 10 hours away. That and I was just super anxious to get them in the mail and off of my living room table!
