FI got back last night and we had a nice romantic dinner at Dodie's.
It's nice to be normal again.

A romantic dinner... I think the last one of those we had was when we got engaged

Successfully repacked my suitcases from my giant suitcase and my medium suitcase to my medium suitcase and my small suitcase

Weeded out some shoes, a couple of shirts, and a cardigan. Yay!

I hate looking forward to this vacation, it is making this week CRAWL by.

Lol gotcha. Nope, I've never even heard of it- I lived in the Coppell area and now I'm up near Denton, but most of my weekends are spent in WF wedding planning, so I don't know much of the Dallas area except the parts I go through going to and from work.

Yeah, our idea of a good date night is making it out to our favorite bar for $1 beer night to watch sports on TV

Knottie vibes please... I just applied for a Librarian job at my undergrad alma mater, in the town where FI lives and works (and where we're planning to live after the wedding). I know the library director and a lot of the campus faculty, and this job is literally my dream job. Keep your fingers crossed that I at least get called in for an interview!

Good luck Kristan!

We are supposed to hear from the realtor today to see if the seller agreed to the offer or not. This is an old home that we will be remodeling before our wedding, and 26 acres that will need to be cleaned up. (We live in the country!)
So, wedding planning, buying and renovating a house, and I just started a new job with Child Protective Services last Monday...I think I am going nuts! Prayers welcome!

Kristan - I know what you're talking about and that's my mom's Alma Mater, too!!! I remember going to her graduation when I was 10... such a cool day! We also used to go look at the Christmas lights every winter.

I need a vacation just from prepping to go on vacation. Good night, making sure everything is in working order for my coordinator to take care of things in my absence is a headache.
