Adding off-the-shoulder sleeves to my dress

I'm meeting with Becky next Friday to get my alterations done, and I need to buy the fabric and have an idea of what sort of cap sleeves I want to add to my dress. I'm at a loss because my sewing/design skills are pretty low.

There are pics of my dress in my bio, and to be honest, my inspiration is this:

Wait for it....

Obviously that is a little much, but it is the best I can think of.

Any ideas?

I don't want them to look like this:

I love your inspiration... it's mine as well.  (For my skirt anyway)

I just peeked at your dress.  I think it'd look great if they were able to add the same material as your dress and create some loose ruched (kinda like on your dress) to create the off the shoulder sleeves.

I actually think that would look awesome!  :)

Just be warned you won't be able to lift your arms very high with the off the shoulder sleeve you are going for. Believe me I tried LOL maybe Becky can make it so you can but the ones I tried on in store I couldn't lift my arms even to parallel so I settled for what you didn't want and actually only wore them for my ceremony. (I wanted the same off the shoulder look you want)

Good luck and hope you can get what you are looking for :)

Talk to Becky about it, but I LOVE your dress as it is. She should be able to guide you on fabric and design.
