Another check today. My moms aunt makes cakes and they are so good. So i knew i was going to go through her for my cake. I have decided to do cupcakes and met with her today to go over everything and get a quote. She is making them and not charging me. I tried to give her something cause it is after all how she makes money, but she insisted on it being her gift to me. One more thing done tons more to go. Hope everyone had a safe and fun halloween

    That was really nice of her to do! When I first got married in '99 there was a lady my parents were friends with at church and she always put on a Lenten dinner herself every year during that season. She made all the food for our rehearsal dinner and that was her gift.

    Aw, that was nice! I love having friends and family hookups like that. We have friends or family doing videography, flowers, cake, all things paper related, and make up, so they were either free or discounted. It's a great way to save some money! :)

    THANKS I DECIDED TO GO WITH CUPCAKES BECAUSE WE ARE haveing our reception at a firehall so that way i dont have to worry about who is gonna cut the cake and so on. People can just go up and get their own.
