When FI and I first got engaged, I was originally going to keep my middle name and drop my maiden name. My mom got be a really nice acrylic serving tray and recipe box. When I told my grandmother about this (my middle name is her maiden name), she got very upset. After her reaction and thinking it over, I decided to drop my middle name and use my maiden name as my new middle name. 

So...I have these 2 monogrammed pieces that I can't use because they don't have my correct initials on them. I would love to give these to a good home (hehe) for free - as long as you're willing to pay for the shipping! Just let me know!

    Those are not my intials but I think we are doing the samething. I have a family tradition starting with my grandmother ( mother mom), the girls in my family does not have a middle name. When we get married we use our maiden name as our middle name. As a matter of fact my dads mom did the samething but it is not a tradition on his side. 

    I know that is totally off topic but I hope you find someone with those initials.

    Ha dang it! They're cute! 

    My initials, after marriage, are going to be MNM. M&M? Any monogram I have wanted to do, I've been hesitant, because you usually put the brides name first, the new last name in the middle, and his first name last.. so it would be MMA. Like the fighting thing. Which just scares me and looks funny on paper in a pretty script. Ha.

    <div>You could do things with just your monogram or just his. We're putting my monogram on kitchen and other household items, and then putting his on some bar things. </div>
