Vent: As far as RSVPs go, there's nothing you really can do except complain on TK... tomorrow's the RSVP date and there are still 50+ not accounted for and that's after I went through the list and crossed off the unrealistic guests (i.e. college age friends from other states who can barely pay rent and cannot afford a trip). And I'm a bit annoyed with one of the GM who Dan texted because he's the only single one so Dan asked if he'd be bringing a date (since he didn't RSVP) and he said he asked someone who won't know until Monday... while we don't "need" the numbers until next Friday, the RSVP date is tomorrow so you should've figured this shiit out sooner dude. Ugh.

Confession: While I wish some people could be there (i.e. college age friends from other states who can barely pay rent and cannot afford a trip), we're under our budgeted guest count so it's money saved and I'm happy about that! :-)

NWR Confession: I am in no way ready for an exam I have tonight. I also am not looking forward to doing a project that has to be submitted online by 11:55PM that I haven't started. Yay for being in school and planning a wedding!

I confess that I flipped out on my FSIL the other day. She basically said that she was looking forward to being able to get trashed and then just drive the 15 minutes home. First off, I didn't appreciate her saying she just wants to get trashed at the wedding but also the fact that she wants to on my bill (we have an open bar). At first I was calm and just said our bartender will cut you off if he feels its necessary and then when she talked about driving home I flipped. Since she'd be leaving our wedding I'd feel responsible if she killed anyone in a car accident. Then I also started about how she would leave her kid running wild there for others to watch (he's 2 and already has very strong ADHD symptoms) and whenever she goes anywhere she basically lets everyone else around watch her kid while she does what she wants.

She just looked at me very confused like I was speaking some foreign language. Needless to say, I'm a little stressed right now and the two of us do not get along at all. She always has to hit my buttons.

vent--I have been feeling like a big loser. This happened when we originally put together our guest list. I have a large family and they will make up majority of my party. When I got done with everything I only had about 12 of my friends on the list (I'll be inviting around 108 total for my side). And then my sisters were like "oh but you have to invite this friend of mine!". Initially I was upset because when I'm only inviting so few of my friends why should I invite yours? But finally I realized that their friends are people that I've been friends with my whole life so I need to suck it up.

We are getting ready to send the save-the-dates so we go back through the guest list to get addresses and stuff and I realize that a lot of my good friends probably won't even be able to make it (living in places like France, Texas or have family weddings that same day that I already know about). I guess it is just disappointing. And I feel like I don't have any friends. I've always been someone who's been friends with their family..my cousins are seriously the best.. but it still makes me sad

confession--my workouts have been HORRIBLE this week (aka non-existant)

Unless they are friends of YOURS and YOU want them at the wedding, that's fine but DO NOT let your sisters TELL YOU who you MUST invite. The decision is yours and your FI's, not theirs...

Pretty sure this is the last straw with the mom drama that everyone has heard about for the last 10 months.

This morning I got a bitchy e-mail from her at 7 saying she needed the last music selection for the unity candle (which I told her last night that we were waiting to hear back from the organist about).
She also asked about when we are all going to sit down and do the seating chart together, which I have been telling her for months would only be possible if it was scheduled way in advance due to my crazy work schedule and not living near eachother (btw, she would not come out here...I would have to go there).

I e-mailed her back at 9:30, saying I had a list of tables figured out for all of my friends and all friends and family for FI. The list wasn't with me, so I told her, I would have it to her later today. Well, she just sent FMIL the seating chart adn said she made up place cards to go with the list she created WTF?!?!?!!?

Now, to top it off, she i having a final meeting with our venue today and didn't even tell me until last night via text. Even then she was just listing it as something she needed to do. I have to work, so I couldn't go, but even so I wasn't invited along for this. Again, WTF?!?!?!?

I hate to be all "This is MY day", but uh it kind of is, and up until now I have kept my attitude fairly in check.

Confession: I just sent her a bitchy text message about disregarding my opinions for my own wedding and other stuff like that which probably brought my maturity level back 10 years or so.
