I updated my RSVP list and typed out the table list. Today I printed out my itinerary for our honeymoon and my FFIL check out the train schedule for me (we are taking the train to NYC to catch our cruise).

Well...I planned on getting to the boutenieers this weekend...did not...didn't really get any wedding things done at all...this was NOT the plan. How did this happen....I did workout on Saturday and me and FI took a walk yesterday...we ended up putting all my DIY projects away this weekend and focused on the house and getting kiddos ready for Back to School...so it wasn't a wasted weekend by any means...and a good friend of mine needed a shoulder to cry on...and so I was there for that...she helped me make flower petals while doing it

...lol...said it was soothing to just sit and hot glue flower petals....so we glued about 100 petals and that was all I did. We found another pretty container for the candy buffet sitting on a shelf in the spare room at FI mothers house, so that was cool...and I did purchase a candy bar sign kit from party city...I guess I did more than I thought. We did finalize the wording on the invitation and we have cake tasting tonight!!!!! See....I feel more productive than I thought....thanks for asking the question!!!

I have a busy week of invitation stuffing so that I can send them ASAP. I also want to pick up something to wear to my "secret" bridal shower on Sunday and also write out tags for my hostess gifts for the shower.

I had my hair trial this weekend. I took photos of two styles and she kind of merged them together. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. I think I've pinpointed the problem and will have her fix it for the wedding day. She's done my hair since I was 10 so she's the only one I trust. My hair is fine and she makes it hold curl like no one else. FI and I also picked up our wedding bands! I also had a couple other wedding things to pick up but FI said we should wait... Tonight we have our first of 3 sessions with the pastor. I'm not as anxious as I thought I might be. FI and I had a bad experience at the first church we looked at, but this church seems to be a better fit so we aren't anticipating any problems... I also want to get all the bows tied on the bubbles this week.

I was supposed to put a few more invites together, but didn't. That was the only real wedding thing that I was supposed to do. I did get a new bathing suit for the wedding and honeymoon trips.

This week I have to book my hair/MU and finish those last few invites. I would like to get working on our guest book too.

Invitations are DONE, sent this morning. Thank you cards for shower done, sent this morning as well!

Working out the favors, just candies at the table. I wanted fall colors, but the M&Ms were ridiculous $ to get just red, orange and yellow. Then my mom saw reese pieces! PERFECT!

This weekend we finally got to Men's Wearhouse to pick out tuxes. We went with my parents, FI's parents and his brother (best man) so they were all able to get fitted. We picked the Vera Wang tux which of course was the most expensive! We made sure it was okay with everyone there and I plan on asking my sister if she would like help paying for her husbands tux because he is in the wedding along with my sister and 2 of their kids so that can get expensive. We chose suits for the boys (ring bearers) because their tuxes would have been the same as adult ones which to me is CRAZY! But we got a good surprise in that FI's parents ended up paying for FI's tux! We would have gotten his free but ended up giving the free tux to FI's GM coming in from AZ.

Tomorrow is my hair trial and first fitting!

we actually didn't have anything planned for the wedding planning this weekend. We truly wanted to talk about anything BUT the wedding... a mini vacation! But, of course, that didn't totally happen - we ended up getting our first draft of our thank you speech written up! Really happy with it so far! this week, I get to continue meeting with the priest for my first communion and confirmation, and shoot a wedding that is OOT this weekend! mostly, my FI has to talk to his last groomesman (yeah, still hasnt' asked him to be a GM yet......) and get two of them to get their measurements done. I also plan on ordering one of the BM gifts this week too!

Oh, and how could I forget, continue updating my RSVP lists.... lol

i went with my fiance to check out the gift he wants to give the GM (hunting knives).
i should have worked on my brooch bouquet (but i photographed a wedding on saturday adn then recouperated from it on sunday!)this week i need to make an RSVP spreadsheet, find a new pastor to marry us and pay for the church.

I had my last shower this weekend, so I wrote thank you notes and did quick returns with doubles I have already gotten.

Sunday I designed and printed off Rehearsal dinner invitations, and some of those are going out in the mail today. Most of them I will just hand to people because I see them often enough.

Today I am finishing buying drinks for the reception. I work 14 hour shift(s) (TK bans the word shift(s) now?!) the rest of the week, so all of my other to-do tasks are getting moved to next week!

I went to my 2nd (and honestly probably my last) dress fitting. It looked so good, the seamstress did a great job. My MOH and her husband -- who happens to be the BM -- came into town and while we did the dress they went and ordered BM tux.

We were suppose to cut and sand the bottoms off the IBC rootbeer bottles we are using in our centerpieces, but we went to Sea World instead.

This was a really fun weekend!

Fri - Had a dress fitting which mostly went well...the seamstress took in the bust too much after my first fitting, so she'll need to fix that before fitting #3, but not a huge deal (no fabric was cut yet, she just had basting stiching to see if the fit was better...sadly, it made it too tight!). FI and I also had a great meeting with our videographer.

Sat - BRIDAL SHOWER!!! I'll post some pics later. It was so beautiful!

I did nothing. I had planned to address invitations (using the printer) on Saturday, but then FMIL, FSIL, and niece and nephew were going apple picking, which sounded like way more fun for myself and FI. It's getting down to crunch time for invitations; going to have to force myself to do them this week.

We did send off a bunch of checks for second payments, so there's a nice chunk of money gone from the bank account.

We intended to print invites this week-end, and did not. He had some things he needed to wrap up and was on the computer all week-end, and then yesterday my Grandmother went to the ER with another TIA (the ER confirmed, and released her).

So..now I am really thinking I should stress on invitations!

On a good note - we went to see friends of FI Saturday night, and the girls have decided they will throw me a Bachelorette Party! That was rather nice

*Finally decided on centerpieces and talked my step dad into making them for me.
*Bought the pattern for FI and RB vests

After today other than dropping off the invitations we are doing a wedding free week to step back and breathe a little bit.

It was kind of hard to get things done since I was babysitting my 2.5 year old nephew but i was able to:
1- order the last of the GMs gifts
2- pick/scan photos of FI and I and my baby pics for our photo montage
3- call the jeweler to find out cost/when we can get my ring re-dipped (ive been engaged for almost two years and i want it to be all shiny/sparkly for the big day)
4- planned a date to assemble programs & OOT inserts with my sister when FI has his bachelor party in two weekends
5- confirmed delivery of BM dresses

should have done:
nothing really, im glad i was able to do what i did given the situation, i knew it would be a slow WR weekend

this week
1- pay the church after i get paid
2- pack for my bachelorette party this weekend (not so WR)
3- have FI pick out his baby pics so i can scan them into the computer
4- decorate my shoes that finally came from DB

2.) Researched a couple reception venues (still researching)

3.) Started Target registry (still working on it)

4.) Drafted invitation text

5.) Picked out Bridesmaids dresses to show to BM for opinions

6.) Picked out Wedding dresses to think about

7.) Researched a couple local hotels (still need to call for rates etc)

... I think that's about it....

I stuffed a few more of my invites. I still have some more to finish, but I need to get updated addresses/confirm addresses to send to for a few of the invites. (someone is moving, another might be breaking up and moving, and another we are still waiting from FI family!)

I wanted to get the tuxes taken care of this weekend but FI wasnt able to come home this weekend (the woahs of marrying a truck driver) so that got pushed back til next weekend. I spent some time with my MOH this weekend.

I do have a plan to go to hobby lobby this week to get a few wedding things since they are 50% off their mr. & mrs. collection again.

I got a lot of wedding things done, but the biggest was a New Wedding Dress! It was kind of a last moment decision due to dress regrets and concerns over the color accents.
