Where are you finding most of your planning ideas?

Just curious as to what others are doing - are you visiting several websites for planning info, reading magazines (does anyone do this anymore?!), getting input from friends and family?

What's helped you most in your planning? TIA!

    I had subscriptions to a few bridal magazines, but canceled it because I felt like after the third issue everything looked the same.

    I LOVE Pinterest!  I search for boards with my wedding colors or location, or puruse the Weddings sections.  Because it's updated so frequently I get really awesome ideas for a variety of different things!  I joined like a year ago and you had to be "invited" by an existing user. If you don't have an account and are interested, PM me your e-mail and I can "invite" you to the website :)

    I also find the Knot forums helpful because as pretty and inspiring as pictures are, receiving feedback from other brides is much more grounding.

    I have some magazines, but have mostly used pinterest.  Also, I have searched for photographers blogs using my venue name to help see what other people have done with the space.

    Pinterest Definately! the knot and different blogs, etsy. Also, Newport Bride Magazine and New england wedding.

    Pinterest is a MUST for not only wedding planning but LIFE! lol Smile 

    I bought a few different issues of bridal magazines as well which gave me some inspiration but really pinterest and weddinggawker.com are the way to go!

    Also just google random venuw photos ex: "Seaport Hotel Boston wedding photos" and you will find photographer blogs that have tons of photos which I've found much inspiration!

    Another vote for Pinterest! I've found some major things on here, including the exact color of my BM dresses and their bouquets. I also looked at so many invitations sites and couldn't find anything that I liked, but I finally found exactly what I wanted on Pinterest! 

    It's also just a great way to organize your ideas via your own boards - everything is in one place :)

    I would put my colors into google and what topic I was looking for. I've just started using pintrest and they have some great ideas! I also use the knot forums
