Suggestions for at or under $1000 photographer and dj?

I'm looking for a photographer and dj for at or under $1,000. We would prefer they not be too stuffy or formal but NOT CHEESEY!

Any suggestions or advice?

DJ's Available is under $1000. They are based out of NJ, but will travel. They have about a dozen different DJ's to choose from, and you pick your DJ! I'm using Joe Moser.

What are you looking to get out of the photographer? Just time and pictures taken, or do you want prints/albums. With your budget, you may want to look into just the photography service and get rights to your pics so you can print your own.

I am confused; do you want both to be under $1000 when totalled together, or individually under $1000?

I am using Tom Barrett for DJ; I have not heard a bad thing about him, and he was around $600-700 (the cheapest I have seen).

I am using Belles and Beaus (Nicole Curran) for photography; her highest package is $1600, but she has others that are at or near your mark of $1000.

That was confusing. $1,000 is budget for each

So $2,000 total.
Tom Barret seems to be popular. I'll look into him.
