Hi I am new to the Knot so I am not all that sure how everything works just yet, but so far I love all the assistance! My fiance and I are getting married June 25, 2011 at Springwood Conference Center in Verona, Pa. I would love to hear of any other brides that are planning the same venue, as I am trying to decide on a package and don't know where to begin? Does anyone have any suggestions on whether or not to go with a package that includes flowers? Or go for the DIY? We are trying to stay in our budget, but I don't really know what to expect to pay for flowers?? Thanks much

If I remember correctly, the flowers seemed very expensive. However, I'm doing my own flowers/buying from Sams Club.
Sorry, I'm really no help! Best of luck! Can't wait to hear more details about your wedding! Congrats!

I would recommend that you set a budget based on the total amount you have set aside for your wedding, and break it down from there. The Knot has a handy tool to do this for you, if you want. Most wedding budget helpers recommend spending a little under 10% of your budget on all the flowers for your wedding, so this might be a good guide to see if the flower plan you have been offered makes sense for you.

I thought with the packages you had to use their flowers, or still pay for them... a use them or lose them deal? I wasn't crazy with their centerpiece options. They seemed friendly and the venue is beautiful!
Good luck planning and congratulations!
The only item I will not compromise on...my bouquet of all purple tulips wrapped in a swatch from my Mom's wedding dress.
