ok my mom told me she was going to  get my dj about a year go and said she ws putting down the deposit......... so its just be bothering me cause my wedding is in august and i havent heard from the dj she picked so i call her and ask her about it and she say oo i was suppose to call him back awhile ago i forgot so now im on a mad dash of search for a dj i can scream cry and pull my hair out at the same time

    I am sorry you are going through this. Hopefully you should be able to find someone and book them asap.

    Just use this as a lesson - never trust anyone to do something for you, especially that far out, unless you have proof of it (like in writing) or are able to confirm it someway.

    The good news is that there are a TON of great DJ recommendations out there! I am sure some of them will be available. We are using TEAM DJ, but I have heard great things about DJ Lou Shocken and Capital City Sound. I am sure it is super frustrating, but you need to gear up and run forward! No sense in being upset over it, too much else to focus on. Good luck!

    I 2nd TEAM DJ.  The good news is you still have time.  I'd start calling people ASAP -- they'll email you price quotes and then you can decide and book -- super easy!  Good luck!

    I recently met with Columbus Pro DJ's and really liked them. I think they have like 15 DJ's so I doubt they would be booked up :-)

    We used David with Night Music, and he was excellent.  They are another company to check out.
