Accountability - Wednesday

Sorry girls, missed yesterday. I spent a good chunk of it in the Drs office and was so worked up about having to wait that long (3 1/2 hrs to see a family Dr WTF) that I totally forgot about this when I got home.... 

How is everyone doing? Anyone hit any new weightloss goals? Anyone hit a full week of eating right? Lets see some celebrations for our accomplishments :)

    No full week of following my diet- BUT I did go weigh in Monday with my CMWS couselor/dr and I had lost a little over a pound over the holidays.  No great thing to celebrate, but at least I didn't gain!

    Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  • We didn't make it to the gym yesterday because Dan had pulled a muscle in his neck and was also trying to get a hold of some of his GM's. I ate pretty well, I had a salad for lunch and a hummus wrap with vegetables for dinner. I made cookies for Dan but I only ate a couple small ones so I figure it's not that bad.

    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

    I've bought hummus, then left it in my fridge til it rotted because I didn't know what to do with it.  Would you mind sharing some ideas/recipes?

    Losing weight over the holidays, no matter how little it may be, is DEF a good thing :) 

    ETA - Going to add a recipies thread to get everyone to share their fav healthy recipies :) 
  • Tonight I finally feel up to getting back to exercising.  I've been eating fairly healthy so I'm at least proud of that!  Good luck to everyone and keep up the good work.
  • Hey everyone! This is my first accountability post. :)

    Last week I stayed on track and lost 2 pounds! I usually weigh in on Sundays, but if you guys do weekly checks on wednesday I can change it.

    I've made a huge breakthrough yesterday. Yesterday I decided I really need to listen to my nutritionist and stop counting calories. Counting calories and calculating workouts is not helping me lose weight. It is only stressing me out. I need to focus more on making this a lifestyle change.

  • My stomach was acting up yesterday so I didn't make it to the gym. My calorie intake was on target though, so it wasn't the end of the world. 

    I splurged and had a bagel with lox and lowfat cream-cheese for breakfast. Then I had awesome Egyptian Lentil soup from one of the food trucks. Dinner was a chicken stir fry with lots of veggies and brown rice. I also managed to drink about 10 glasses of water.

  • I will be going to my second kickboxing class this week. I was really sore after the first one and am still tight today but im def making myself go tonight.  I really liked the class and am hoping I can stick with it. I felt great afterwards.
    yesterday I was bad and had 2 cupcakes. today is FI's daughters bday and we are going to chuckecheese tonight... so will end up eating pizza and will try not to have any more desserts.

  • I worked out two days in a row and didn't eat like a jack ass. I consider those wins. I'm not too far from my ideal weight, but I really want to firm and tone up so my arms look hawt on the big day!

    My FI is trying to lose a significant amount of weight and it's going great. He's going to the gym 4 times a week with his uncle and is doing 2 work-outs a week at home. He's doing awesome and I am so freaking proud of him!

  • I woke up at my lowest since Thanksgiving.  That's a plus.  I had sweet potato and eggs this morning and mid morning.  Raw pasta for lunch because I'm sick today and didn't want to cook.  FI thankfully tossed pineapples and chicken in the slow cooker for dinner and rice in the rice cooker.

    No workout today.  I'll be going back to bed soon.
