Local favor ideas?

Hi All--

I'm looking for a unique and fun favor to give our guests. We are doing a photobooth and our guests will get to take home their photos, but I wanted something else to give out. And of course I want it to be unique to our area! I was thinking maybe little bags of salt water taffy in our colors? Or these little fortune like cookies shaped like shells called Shuckies (www.shuckies.com, they are awesome!) or bags of peanuts with a Red Sox tag attached...

Anyone else have any cool ideas??

    Love the idea of peanuts with sox tags, the only problem with that is if one of your guests are allergic to peanuts.  The Shuckies are a fabulous and fun idea!!! love it!

    What about bags of JellyBellys in Baked Beans flavor?... Or those little chocolates wrapped in baseball-looking wrappers? You could tie either of those off with a Red Sox tag.

    We did small jars of locally made pumpkin butter (it was a fall wedding). I wanted something that was kind of specific to the area, made my someone local not a big conglomeration somewhere, and that people couldn't just go an by themselves in the grocery store (like M&Ms or whatever). Worked for us, since I love everything pumpkin and we kind of went with a fall-ish theme. Depending on when your wedding is, you could probably find different locally made jams and butters.

    You could also do Red Sox wine, or something to do w/ Craisins since Ocean Spray is a MA company...Cape Cod potato chips.

    I found this cool idea from one of my friends that just had a tasting. They are the new rave since the cupcake! Push up Cake's they can be used as favors or in a tiered Wedding Cake. They are definatley different  I am trying to book a tasting . www.pushupcakepops.com
