Today my dad told me that my grandmother (his mom) had sent me her handkerchief for me to carry. First of all I was super excited and honored that she would do that for me! I then read the note she attached with the package, it explained that her grandmother (my great great grandmother) gave it to her on her 16th birthday. My grandmother did not know if I wanted to use it because it was "dingy" looking. It is not at all!!! It is a beautiful white handkerchief with blue embroidery on the edges. It is something that I was not expecting at all and I am so honored to have a piece that important with me on my wedding day! So ladies what is your something old?
