TTD - hair/makeup?

Hi everyone, so I'm getting my hair and make up professionally done for my wedding day.  And then about a month later when we are back from our honeymoon, we are doing a TTD session out in the woods and mountains.  I don't know anyone who's done a TTD and it's my photographer's first one as well.  Do people normally get the same hair/makeup style as the wedding day? I'm thinking I'd like to do a little different like a fancy braid instead of a half-up/half-down.  So should I attempt my own hair, or have my hair dresser do this again? Also would you suggest doing my own makeup (I'm pretty decent at this, but I will need to buy new foundation since my colour will change by then) or getting a bolder/more glamour kind of professional makeup??? 

Suggestions/thoughts?

    I am actually doing a bride and groom session tomorrow.  Not really trashing the dress, but not going to worry about it either!

    I definitely didn't want the same hairstyle.  I thought about just wearing it down but decided to do a side pony because my husband really likes it like that and it's much easier for me to do myself.

    Professional makeup was out for me because it's an early morning shoot over an hour from where I live.  So I am doing my own, yikes!  I've been practicing and I bought some new products.  My session will be an hour long using natural light only so I didn't have to worry about it holding up under heavy lighting or for very long.  We'll see how it goes!  If I had the option of doing professional makeup, I would have went that route.
