Online ordination?

Question: I am getting married in November. My future mil is ordained online through universal life church in Michigan. Is she legally able to marry us in Charleston, SC?

    I think you should call the clerks office in SC. This is a question that is best answered by someone who works in the licensing division of the state you want to be married in. The person who is ordained may still need to register in SC also.

    I know each state has their own restrictions.
