I have been searching the Internet trying to find a good song for my dad and me, and I'm still at a loss, so I'm wondering if anyone might have suggestions.
I want something that's not cheesy or too sentimental. I get teary very easily, and I don't want to cry when I'm dancing with my dad! I'm trying to think of songs that my dad would like, but his music tastes aren't what you might expect for someone his age--he loves Lady Gaga, Pink, and Sheryl Crow, just to name a few. I know Sheryl Crow does a cover of "Sweet Child 'o Mine," but my fiance and I may be using the song as our ceremony recessional, so that's most likely out.
Could anyone suggest an appropriate song, preferably by a contemporary artist? Thanks!
