I currently have a deposit down at Chateau Country Club, but I am changing venues. I would like to know if anyone wants that date at Chateau to see if maybe they will give me my deposit back if someone else wants the date.

    If only this post would have come sooner. I met with Chateau back in November or December after several email communications with them, the whole time I was under the impression that they were available for 11-11-11. Not one time did they indicate otherwise. I go meet with them and find myself very pleased with the hall and package and as I am ready to write out a check, they pull the rug from under me and tell me "sorry we are booked" Needless to say I was very upset, after a few more run-ins b/c of the date of 11-11-11. I actually decided to change my date to 11-12-11 and lucked out and found another location, one that I am very pleased with, it's funny how things work out. I really hope that you find someone to take you up on this, with the date being so popular, I'm sure you will. Best of luck.

    I cant believe they never told you they were booked. We put our deposit down in April and at that time one ballroom was booked and we got the other. So they had been booked for a while when you went in November. But glad things worked out for you anyway!!
