I flame myself for having a self induced headache today! FI and I decided to have a little to much fun on own after the family dinner last night since it was going to be our last night together "single". Bright side, it was a freakin' blast!!

I have, but my ATT U-verse randomly goes on a deleting spree, and the last victim was Grays. *tear. Also, it (every two months or so) goes in and deletes all my recorded shows- so there is nothing in my DVR! so frustrating! They have sent out technicians twice and no answer. Anyone else have U-verse and has experienced this problem? <div>
</div><div>ABC online yes! but the problem lies in convincing myself to stare at a tiny laptop screen for hours. </div>

<div>Maybe it's your box itself?? I know it's a pain to switch them out and then re-program everything to record, but that's what we had to do because our DVR (TimeWarner) kept saying it was recording when in actuality it wasn't :( I love having shows available online but like you said, the eye strain from staring at the small screen stinks... that's what we have a big tv for!! :)</div>

I don't understand how people watch movies on their laptops either. It drives me nuts.

I have UVerse, and I randomly have to check my memory capacity on the DVR recordings to keep it from deleting things. Usually it puts a warning notice next to the shows it's about to erase, though. FI's are the first to go when it comes to that, though, since he is home more than me to watch TV

I might hassle ATT some more- to see if they will do it. customer of the year award right here!<div>
</div><div>btw my new iphone comes in today- so excited! It is my bday present from FI. I am kind of sad (and this makes me sound like a bit of a b!+ch, but I mean it in a loving way) that he ordered me the black one instead of the white one after I went on and on about how much I couldn't wait to have a white phone. Maybe he is just playing a trick on me and will surprise me *crosses fingers*. If not, at least I have a new phone- and that is the important thing (desperately needed from my brick of a 3g).</div><div>
</div><div>professor, I always hated the kids that had the hiccups during tests- it was usually kids with irregular hiccups too, not at exact intervals. so distracting!</div>

<div>The weird thing is, mine deletes everything, like wipes the entire drive clean- not just certain shows. I called and asked about this, but they acted like I was crazy and that somehow I must have deleted everything. Um. No. This isn't my first DVR Rodeo, thank you. </div>

I do this, but I have a 17" monitor.  I usually only do this when FI is hogging the TV, I'm cold and want to crawl into bed and watch a movie, or I'm tired and I know I'll probably fall asleep within ten minutes of turning a movie on LOL.  *shrugs* Doesn't bother me.

FI has a Playstation though so we have Hulu Plus and Netflix on that, and generally that's how we watch our shows.
