Since our dates are so close to certain holidays do you think you will have less family/friends show up from out of town?

    I am getting married on December 22. Most of my family travels from different parts of the state to reunite at my grandparents home. I am having my wedding in that town, so I know most of my family will be there. As for my friends, I really doubt that they will attend because of the holidays...

    I am getting married December 22 2012 and knew that because it was the Saturday leading into Christmas that family would decide to come for our celebration and spend Christmas with the rest of the family as well.  We will be sending our Save the Dates out this month to ensure adequate time is given for planning and preparation as well.
