RD time

so i have two choices...the whole bridal party can meet for dinner around 3:30pm then go to ceremony site for 6pm. after ceremony rehersal I plan on doing the reception area decorating with the help of my girls...or we can meet for 6pm ,decorate ,then go to dinner...but i am not sure how long it is going to take to decorate...your thoughts?

    Can you decorate at 3 and then rehearse at 6 and go to dinner after that? If I ate dinner at 3:30 I would be starving again by 7...but I'm always hungry lol.

    Agree with PP - dinner at 3:30 is early.  I'd prefer dinner after 5pm.

    I agree with PP, If you could decorate first then do rehearsal and dinner I think that would be the best.  But I personally always eat late myself... haha

    i know that is what i fear everyone will be starving...but i cant decorate till after rehearsal and i am afraid we wont be done till around 9

    hmm Maybe you can do the rehearsal, then do dinner, then come back to decorate?  That way people wont be eatting too early or too late!

    Another option could always be to do a "rehearsal lunch" type of thing then do the rehearsal and decorate.  During decorating you could always have someone run out and get everyone some finger foods as a little late snack?

    Our rehearsal is at 1:00 (because it's' the only time we can get access to the church that day), so we'll rehearse, then have a late lunch, followed by set-up in the reception hall for a couple of hours.  Then everyone parts ways to change/freshen up, then finally we will meet at our favorite neighborhood Italian place for RD around 7pm.
