AIs in St. Lucia or Jamaica

My fiance and I are looking for an all inclusive resort in either St. Lucia or Jamaica for the end of July. We would like to stay under $3000 including airfare. Any suggestions? 

Also, where is the best place to book honeymoons? Online? Travel Agency?

    We used http://www.honeymoonsinc.com/ and everything for our trip was under $3000 to Jamaica for 7 days! So far, FI has said nothing but great things about the customer service he's received.

    I've only been to Sandals Negril in Jamaica which was nice, but probably not under $3k.  It's an hour and a half from the airport so you get to see a lot of the country side.  They always treat you well at Sandals.  They have quite a few resorts in Jamaica.

    We booked our honeymoon (in Hawaii) through CostCo Travel - the price was significantly better for the same hotel/flights than on any other travel site we visited.

    We've been to St. Lucia and Jamaica (a few times).  Always booked with a travel agent.  Their price is the same as you'd find online but they always seem to get you extra perks and better service at the resort than if you just book online.  We love our TA, shoot me a PM if you want her info.  She's in DC, I'm in NYC so we do everything over phone and email.  Good luck!

    I had the same exact budget of $3000 as you. Jamaica is for sure do-able, but I honestly don't think your going to find an AI in St. Lucia with that budget (unless wherever your flying out of is MUCH cheaper than Boston). St Lucia was my top choice & I was at least $1000 short of staying there (as far as AI goes. I didn't look at any non inclusive resorts). Also, I was looking for 6 nights...if you're looking for less maybe you can swing it.

    With that budget and how expensive airfare is I would say your best bets are the same one's I could afford for all inclusive- Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic.

    I chose Cancun, Mexico so I can't really help you with Jamaica rec's (though they have a lot of couple resorts there that a lot of people on the knot HM at)

    I chose to use a travel agent so I have somebody to help me/on my side if anything goes wrong. Many travel agents will allow you to find the prices yourself online and will match them or beat them. & most TA's are free of charge. I couldn't see any down side in using one! Good luck :)

    I am doing the topical deluxe room at sandals negril, including airfare flying from Boston was 3,500. We are doing 5 nights sun- fri. Went thru TNT vacations
