Catering

Hi all!  We still have a little while to go until our wedding but are still looking to secure a reception venue.  The reception venue that we are really leaning toward is quoting us $25 a head for food (which is great!) but I was just wondering if there are any Tampa area catering companies worth looking into that are less.  I know it's a far reach but any help would be much appreciated!  Thank you in advance!

We are going to be using Hungry Harry's BBQ, and for 100 people, we are paying a little over $1900....which I think is amazing. lol.  And, they do more than just BBQ. When I talked to the owner about different foods and stuff, he told me that he recently catered with mexican food! lol. Their food is delish!

I've had Delectables in Palm Harbor which was very good. They have a really nice set-up. Website is below. I cannot remember their pricing off hand but I recall it being reasonable when we were considering catering. http://www.delectablescatering.com/

I know Jason's deli would be interested in doing it, though I am not sure what type of foods they would be able to provide other than sandwiches, salads, spuds, etc. Any local italian place would likely be able to do it as well. They should also have seafood options. For ours, we used Angie's List to help narrow our choices down, then we broke it down into what type of food offerings and prices each company provided. We picked a relatively cheap option that was popular and had a variety of menu options..

Thank you for the help, ladies!  I think we're going to end up sticking with the venue's food.  They just negotiated a little more:)
