Usually eat around 3 or 4pm...relax/watch TV, etc.
Scower the black friday ads and write out our lists
Dig in to dessert about 5-6pm
Those of us who can handle it are back to leftovers about an hour before bed

this year I'll be off to Toys R Us at midnight so i'm sure I'll fuel up with leftovers around 10:30pm

At my house, it's 2 pm sharp! Don't be late! And we all sit at the table from course 1 to dessert, no breaks, let's get this job done. Haha.

At FI's it's like 2 pm, but we really mean sit here for another hour and then we'll eat. It annoys me because I'm not used to that. Say 3 if we're eating at 3! Then his brothers (live at home) practically run upstairs and we have to sit there and wait some more for the next course. Can you tell I'm so looking forward to it?

My mom said to get home for dinner at 3 sharp, which means dinner will actually be on the table sometimes between 3:30 and 4:30.

My family doesn't celebrate it.  His family - whenever everyone gets off work & can make it.  This year, 7pm.

We usually eat at 2-2:30 at my house and at dh's it's usually 4ish I think.  We are eating at my family's house this year so 2pm it is.

What about the special snowflake option?!
On Thursday, we start apps around 5, eat turkey around 6. It is dinner.
On Saturday, we start apps around noon, eat turkey around 4. It is an ambiguous seemingly never-ending gorge-fest.

We usually eat around 4:30. But, this is the first year that my FI and FMIL are coming to my family's dinner. FI is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and refuses to miss too much of the game that starts at 4:15 on T-day. After some negotiating, to accomodate him we moved the time to 5:00 so that he'll only miss some of the 2nd quarter and halftime, maybe a little of the third quarter. We'll have dessert when the game ends around 7:30.

Ugh - nice to know I'm going to have this issue the rest of my life - the Cowboys play every year!

People are coming over at 3 and we'll have apps then eat around 5 I think.  I don't know why I'm so stressed about everything this year...excited and stressed all in one

We put out cheese and crackers and that stuff at 3 and eat at 4. My mom has a new oven this year and shes a little shaky with the timing cause it actually works so it may wind up being earlier.
We almost never eat twice on Thursday but always have leftovers atter shopping on Friday.

We usually start with the appetizers around 3, then we're all waiting around for turkey and the rest. Last year, we had turkey at 8 and dessert at 10.

My fiance was like there's something with your family.

We eat in between lunch and dinner - usually around 2:00 - 3:00.  FI's family usually eats before noon.
