Cuban traditions?

My FI is half-Cuban, and I'd love to surprise him with something during our wedding/reception.  Any ideas?  We've been searching for a salsa band, but in Northern CA, the choices are very limited.  Other ideas?

Why dont you consider taking singing lessons and sing him a romantic bolero in Spanish? Im sure that would rock his world!

Tempting, but I don't think my voice would be that much of a treat.  :S

Since you can't find a band, just ask the DJ to play salsa music.  Also, could you somehow incorporate Cuban foods into the menu?  Even just for the appetizers/cocktail hour?  Maybe have all of the groomsmen change into guayaberas during the reception?  A cigar roller... obviously you can't have Cuban cigars, but you can always pretend!  :-)   You could hire a Cuban dance group to perform? Have a custom garter made to look like the Cuban flag (I did that for my FI who is from Ecuador).

That's all I can think of!  Sorry!
