Luggage Tag/Travel Theme Favors

I'm planning a travel/road trip themed wedding and was thinking of getting luggage tags like these and my fiance's favorite chocolate bars for favors. We'll have something like a compos or a map printed on one side of the luggage tag so it's not branded with our wedding and the guest's name and table will be on the other side so it will serve as their escort card.

Is this a useful favor or do I just think it's useful because I do a lot of traveling? Would I be better off just printing on cardstock and making it look like a luggage tag (see below) and just get the chocolate bars? I know everyone says food favors are better but do people really not mind not having a keepsake? Are there any other good travel theme wedding favors?

    I'd love the luggage tags.

It's a cute idea, but the only thing I keep from any weddings is edible favors---food.  Just my 2 cents.

Honestly, I wouldn't use these. I have some random luggage tag on my only piece of luggage and it serves its purpose just fine. People who travel often may have a different opinion though.

I have a tag that matches my luggage, it came with it and I like it.  I would not use it.

I don't want someone else's name or monogram attached to my luggage.  I think that is a bit strange and I have my own tags.

Miller, in her OP, rrkenny said specifically that it would NOT be branded with her wedding.

Thanks all, I think I'm going to go with printing them on cardstock for the escort cards instead of investing in actual ones after all. There are plenty of other things that extra $100 could go to!
