Song Choices

Hi ladies,

I'm an old knottie coming back for some help. My cousin is DJ-ing his first wedding (other than mine) and the bride has asked him to suggest some songs for:

-Entrance

-First Dance

-Father/Daughter Dance

-Mother/Son Dance

-Garter Toss

-Bouquet Toss

-Cake Cutting

Would you folks mind sharing your song lists and other songs you considered or are considering? I know I could Google this, but it's nice to get the perspective brides that might have more current of "local" song choices.

We used beyonces single ladies for bouquet toss. The beatles helter skelter for garter toss & the archies sugar sugar for cake cutting. No entrance or parent songs & our first dance was a personal song to us that nobody really knows.

Mother/son - What a wonderful world
Father/daughter - Unforgettable

No garter, no bouquet -- I think skipping these has become more common.

Absolutely no idea what was played for cake cutting. Seriously, no clue. And We totally forgot to pick an entrance song so the DJ picked something that sounded like 70s boogie nights meets porn...I would NOT recommend that

We still don't have it all figured out. But, we won't be doing most of this stuff. I know I am walking to Can't Help Falling in Love and we are walking back to the Hawaiian Wedding song, but don't know what FI is going to walk to, yet. We also don't know what our first dance is going to be (maybe Adele's cover of love song) and don't know what we are going to make our entrance to. Probably either something Elvis or Hawaiian.
